DIY CUSTOM PE FOAM

Our Technical Manager took foam customisation into his own hands and modified one of our PE foam blocks to replace the original one in his tool case.

The results might not be perfect but he has given us some tips for attempting to customise foam at home:

> Use a sharp long-blade knife
> Take time and care when marking out and cutting
> When using a hole cutter for circular shapes, turn it in the ‘wrong’ direction to avoid catching and tearing the foam
> Try using a junior hacksaw blade for cutting intricate shapes
